Computer Repair & Preventive Maintenance

Onsite Computer Repairs - Some computer issues we can resolve onsite, but price may vary depending on your circumstances. Call for complete details and if whether your problem can be resolved onsite or if your computer will have to be picked up and returned at a later time.

Computer Desktop Diagnostic w/ Repair - See Specials - Extensive diagnosis to determine the cause of problem such as black or blue screens w/ error messages at boot up, crashes or doesn‘t boot to Windows, doesn't turn on at all, etc. Service also includes format & reload of the Windows operating system software, if necessary, installation of Windows critical updates, virus and spyware removal, scan & defragmentation of hard drive, and installation of any parts needed for the completion of the repair. Operating system media & license must be provided by client. Parts are not included in the price.

Note: If we're unable to repair due to high cost parts that you'd rather not invest anymore money in for, then there's no charge for the diagnostic. If you are experiencing smaller problems such as CD/DVD drive doesn't work anymore, internet connection problems, & other various issues where it may not require to re-install all software over again, give us a call because price may vary.

Virus/Spyware/Pop-up Removal - FREE Anti-Virus & Anti-Spyware software w/ purchase - Remove unwanted Viruses, Trojan horses, hijackers, adware and spyware which can slow down your computer, damage personal files, display pop-ups or maybe even send out private information such as credit card numbers and passwords. Viruses and Trojan horses can also install “backdoor programs” which can aid an intruder to get unauthorized access to your computer and take it over. Service includes the removal of unwanted malware and system restore if it is needed.

Preventive Maintenance & Clean Up - Computers need regular maintenance to keep it running in good working order and to avoid major breakdowns. This service includes freeing computer of unused applications, cleaning computer inside & out for proper ventilation inside PC case, defragmentation of hard drive, scanning hard disk to fix errors and recover bad sectors and download & install of Windows critical updates.

Upgrades & Installations

Windows Operating System Installation - Installation of Windows OS, set up of software and any necessary drivers required for hardware that resides in system already. We’ll also install all Windows critical/high priority updates & the latest Microsoft Windows Service Packs and make sure system is running properly. Windows media, license key & driver media must be provided by the client. Hardware & system must be in good working condition in order to qualify for only a Windows Install and not a repair service rate. Any additional troubleshooting may result in an additional charges. PC Memory Installation - Installation of memory (RAM) to help speed up the computer. Memory, itself, is not included in the price. Part sold seperately or you can purchase it elsewhere & we can install it for you.

Ubuntu OS Installation - We currently do not offer complete tech support for the Ubuntu platform, but we do currently offer the installation of the operating system in case you own a computer that currently does not have any operating system on it such as Microsoft Windows. Ubuntu is a free operating system and contains all the applications that you need - a web browser, presentation, document, and spreadsheet software, instant messaging and much more. Going with this install will save you money from buying expensive operating systems such as Windows, you are not paying anything at all for the Ubuntu software, it's FREE.

Software Installation/Upgrade - We will install PC compatible software such as anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall, etc. software onto your computer. Software is not included in price. Excludes operating system install. Upgrade & Install service on functioning computer only. Additional troubleshooting may result in additional charges. Call for complete details.

Hardware Installation/Upgrade - We will install a PC compatible internal or external hardware onto your computer such as video card, sound card, hard drive, optical drive, or USB PCI card, etc. Hardware is not included in price. Excludes SLI & Crossover video card installations. Any additional troubleshooting may result in additional charges. Call for details.

Data Backup & Recovery

Data Backup - Backup of your personal files such as Word documents, music, photos, email, etc. onto multiple CDs/DVDs. Programs can not be backed up unless you have the main program installation executable file on the hard drive. Backup is limited up to 30GB of data. Each additional 10 GB of data/files is an additional $15.00.

Wireless Networking & PC Setup

Home Wireless Network Setup (For 2 PCs. For 1 PC, Call for Pricing) - Share your high-speed DSL/Cable Internet connection, printers, and files from anywhere in your home with a secure installed wireless network. Up to 2 Windows PC’s connected wirelessly and encryption/security features enabled and configured to help prevent intruders & hackers from accessing your network and Internet connection. Hardware and software is not included in price. A broadband wireless network router will be needed for setup. Any additional troubleshooting may result in additional charges. New Computer System Setup - Just leave it in the box and call for the setup of your new PC to get it organized. Also learn the basics using your new PC, download critical Windows updates and install security software to ward off viruses and spyware. Security software is not included in price. Broadband Internet connection required for download of any updates.
