Repairs
Yes,sometimes computers break. Fixing it can require considerable skill and knowledge, and the sheer inconvenience of disconnecting everything so that you can either haul your box to the nearest store (or worse mail it back to the company you bought it from) makes a bad situation worse.

However, PC House Calls can undertake the vast majority of repairs. We arrive at your door with a full line of quality replacement computer components so that most of the time, we can repair the computer on the spot! Repairs are not just limited to hardware either, software can be just as tough to fix and equally frustrating. Fortunately PC House Calls, Inc. can solve most Windows® related problems too.

NOTE: Due to the specialized parts and equipment required, it is not practical for PC House Calls to undertake monitor, laser printer, or notebook repairs on-site. These jobs really are best done in a fully equipped workshop.

Upgrades
No matter how good the specification was when you bought it, it's a sad fact of life that computers age quickly. The good news is that most systems 12-24 months old can be brought up to speed at a reasonable cost, and older systems can still have their working lives extended.

Networks & Security
There was a time when networks were reserved only for large companies with huge IT budgets and support departments to match. Not any more. Installing a small business or home network is not as expensive as you may think, and offers several advantages:

* Cable/DSL internet connection sharing.
* Printer sharing.

For internal networks security isn't such an issue, but you should be aware that the moment your network is connected to the outside world (usually via the internet) you are at risk from malicious intruders. It is also highly recommended that all networked machines have anti-virus software installed, so if you don't have this protection already we'll be happy to supply and install it for you.

Professional on-site installation can make the world of difference, even if you're not a first-timer. No stress, no crawling round on your hands and knees. Put your feet up and have a coffee while someone else does it all . As part of the installation package you can have printers, scanners, and most other peripherals set up and installed too.

Software can be even trickier to set up properly, particularly operating systems and high level applications. PC House Calls can install and configure virtually any software for you and resolve the vast majority of conflicts that may arise in the process.

Maybe you're about to connect your office to the Internet for the first time and you're a little bemused by all the jargon? We can help with that too! PC House Calls will install the necessary software, get you connected to your ISP, and even set up email accounts for you.
Training
PC House Calls can provide training on Microsoft® Windows® 95/98/2000/XP/VISTA, internet/email use, specific application use and general PC use. The time savings can really mount up when you know some of the shortcuts and features that your machine offers. Training that's provided in the comfort of your office is a definite plus too.

Custom Systems
PC House Calls builds custom workstations and servers to your specifications. Each machine carries a 1 year on-site warranty that covers all parts and labor. Two and three year agreements are available too.
